Dispute resolution (ADR)
Disputes occasionally arise concerning who is entitled to a domain name. On such occasions, Alternative dispute resolution (ADR) proceedings are available as an easy alternative to going to court.
The “first come, first serve” principle applies to the allocation of domain names; the first party to apply for an available domain will receive it without prior testing.
If you believe that someone else has registered a domain name to which you are entitled, you can appeal the allocation of the domain name retroactively through an ADR procedure.
More information about ADR is available from IIS.
