Costs and payments
New registrations
A registration with .SE Direkt costs SEK 350 including VAT (SEK 280 excluding VAT). There will also be an annual fee, which currently is SEK 225 including VAT (SEK 180 excluding VAT). When you make a new registration, you also choose a payment period (you choose how many years you want to pay for) and pay for that together with your registration. In other words, you can choose to pay the annual fee for several years at once if you want to.
.SE Direkt does not provide any optional commercial services such as web hosting services, e-mail, hosting or similar.
New registrations must be paid with a credit card. We do not offer payment notices.
The applications will be processed in the order in which they are received by .SE Direkt. When your application has been processed, .SE will notify you by e-mail.
If the domain name that you have selected was incorrectly spelled during the registration, this can be corrected. You can change the registration by asking .SE Direkt to change it to the correct spelling.
Annual fee
The annual fee is currently SEK 225 including VAT (SEK 180 excluding VAT).
You can choose to pay the annual fee for your domain name for several years at once. Make this choice in your account in the DomainManager.

When it’s time to renew your domain name, we will send a bill for the annual fee/fees to the payment notice recipient. Annual fees from .SE Direkt do not include services from other providers that are used together with your domain name, such as website and e-mail. If these types of services are linked to your domain name, you must pay the relevant provider for them.
E-mail billing
.SE Direkt charges SEK 15, including VAT (SEK 12, excluding VAT) for customers who still want to receive paper notifications in connection with the billing of annual fees for their .se-domain names. Naturally, this fee is not payable if you choose/have chosen e-mail notification.
To choose e-mail notification, you must change the notification option in the DomainManager. On our website, a simple step-by-step instruction at: http://www.sedirekt.se/en/kundtjanst/betalning/e-post/ explains how to switch to the environment-friendly notification.
Our customers contribute to the development of the Internet
All of .SE Direkt´s customers contribute to the development of the Internet in Sweden. .SE’s financing of projects that benefit Internet development in Sweden, using the surplus from domain sales. Last year almost 41,8 million SEK of a turnover of almost 100 million SEK financed .SE´s research and development operations. Read more.
