.SE Direkt´s free optional services
.SE Direkt offers its customers a host of free optional services. This facilitates the administration of your domain name.
Multi-year payments
If you have had you domain name for a long time and want to protect it, multi-year payments may be a suitable alternative for you. It is safe – and environmentally friendly. As a .SE Direkt customer, you can opt to pay the annual fee for your domain name for several consecutive years. You can select multi-year payments for a period of one to ten years. If you need to deregister the domain name prior to the expiration of the payment period, you will be reimbursed for the year(s) which have not yet commenced. Read more about multi-year payments here.
Text-message service
If you select our text-message service, we will send you a reminder by text message free of charge a few days before your domain name is at risk of being shut down due to the annual fee not being registered by us. Naturally, we will also send a reminder by e-mail or traditional mail, but the text-message service is an option in addition to the standard reminder. Read more about the text-message service and how to select it here.
E-invoicing
Receiving your .SE Direkt bill by e-mail is the easiest, most effective and clearly most environmentally friendly way of managing your billing. If you select the e-invoicing option, you will save SEK 15, excluding VAT, which is otherwise charged to receive your bill by traditional mail. Read more about e-invoicing here.
Automatic address updates
It is important to have the correct address registered with us to avoid missing a bill. Accordingly, we regularly compare our customers’ address details with those in Upplysningscentralen’s (UC, a business and credit information agency) address registry.
You can order automatic address updates so that the bill is sent to the right address. With this option, if the billing address that .SE Direkt has differs from the address listed in UC’s registry, it is automatically updated to the address listed with UC.
