Questions regarding credit-card payments

1. Do I have to wait for the bill to pay by card?

No, you can pay by card as soon as your bill has been listed under the “Coming payment notices” tab in the DomainManager. However, you cannot pay the annual fee until it is listed there. Only when the bill is visible in the DomainManager has the bill been prepared and the billing period has commenced.

2. Can I pay when I want to?

3. Will the payment be registered faster if I pay by card?

Yes.

4. How long does it take before the payment is registered by .SE Direkt?

A card payment will be registered immediately and you can view this the next time you log into the DomainManager.

5. Can I make partial payments on my bill?

No, the system only permits bill payments in full. However, if you previously paid part of the bill by plusgiro, for example, then you can pay the remaining amount by card. However, in this case you also have to pay the remaining amount in full.

6. What do I do if I paid too much/not enough?

Refer to the aforementioned; when paying by card, it is not possible to pay an incorrect amount.

7. How can I confirm that .SE Direkt has registered the payment by card?

You will receive a receipt directly on the browser when the payment is complete. You can also subsequently confirm that the payment has been registered by searching for your domain name at www.iis.se and reviewing the expiration date that applies for the domain name. As soon as the payment has been registered by .SE Direkt, the expiration date will be move ahead one year. Even if you pay by card, you may receive a payment invoice by traditional mail. If you have already made the payment by card, you can disregard that payment notice.

8. My payment contact manages my payments. How can I confirm if the payment has been made?

When the payment has been registered by .SE Direkt, the expiration date for the domain name will be move ahead one year. Accordingly, you can confirm that your payment has been made by searching for your domain name at www.iis.se and reviewing the expiration date that applies for the domain name

Parties whose registrar pays the annual fee should note that there will be no registrars after December 31, 2009. After this date, make sure to update the party indicated as your payment contact in the DomainManager.

9. What cards can I make a payment with?

Visa or MasterCard affiliated cards and Eurocard.

10. What measures does .SE Direkt take to protect my credit-card information?

The card information is directly submitted to DIBS Payment Services AB without .SE Direct coming into contact with it. DIBS is certified by PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard), a comprehensive program aimed at enhancing data security among all parties who store, process or transfer card data. The parties behind PCI DSS include Visa and MasterCard.

The transfer of card numbers and personal information is protected by SSL encryption.

11. I received a message that my credit-card payment cannot be completed? What should I do?

Contact your bank!
