Sign up for reminders through our text-messaging service

What is the text-messaging service?

If you opt to use our text-messaging service, we will send you free text-message reminders few days in advance of the possible deactivation of your domain(s) (which will be shut down if we do not receive payment of annual fees).

How do I subscribe to the text-messaging service?

To subscribe to the text-messaging service, log in to your account in the DomainManager.

Only domain registrants are eligible for subscribing to this service.

You will need your customer number and password to log in. If you do not have your log-in information, you may request it here.

Note that the e-mail will be sent to the same e-mail address that we have on record for the domain name concerned. When you have done this, additional instructions will be sent by e-mail on how to create your password.

When you have logged in to the DomainManager, do the following:

1. Go to the tab “Account settings” in the left menu.
2. Click on “Update account information” at the bottom.
3. Select “activated” in the drop-down list for text-messaging services
4. Enter your mobile-phone number.
5. Click on “Update.”

What should I do if I receive a text-message reminder despite having paid?

If you happen to receive a text-message reminder after having already paid for your annual fee, you may disregard the reminder.

Payments made by means of bankgiro or plusgiro may take up to ten working days before they are registered in our system.
